Rhyl Town Council lead tributes after the death of long standing Councillor Brian Blakeley. In a tribute posted on Twitter and Facebook, it reminded people of his devoted work as councillor to the town for over 20 years and as a county council from 2003.
Cllr Brian Blakeley was mayor of Rhyl in 2006/07 and is survived by his daughter Michelle, who is also a town councillor.
In a quote on Twitter by Town Clerk, Gareth Nickels it simply read, ‘Brian embodied everything a good councillor should be’
