The construction company behind Rhy;’s new Queens Market Project, Wynne Construction, have released details of road closures in Rhyl town centre in the New Year as part of the construction process.

In a statement posted on their Facebook page – Wynne Construction, they said:

We are pleased to advise you that the works are progressing well on the Queens Market Project.

 

We would like to inform you that Queen St will be closed on 9th January 23 for 3 weeks for traffic due to drainage connections work taking place at the site entrance. pedestrian access on Queen St will be maintained including access to all business during the works.

 

A concrete pour is also planned for the 1st floor. This works involves power floating to achieve the finish. The works will include additional lighting and possible noise until the early hours of the morning, on 24th January 2023.

 

The concreting works are dependent on good weather, we will keep you informed of any changes on the day. We will ensure that disruption to surrounding areas is kept to a minimum while the work is carried out.

Letters will be distributed to local residents, companies near to the site so they will all have this information.
