Rhyl RNLI have raised a fantastic amount of money for St Kentigern Hospice by host an event in the community.
The fundraiser was held In memory of the greatly missed crew member, Bob, volunteers from Rhyl RNLI fundraised £1,570 for St Kentigern Hospice by holding a community car wash.
The car wash took place at Rhyl Harbour with kind permission from Denbighshire County Council’s Harbour Team, where the volunteer crews along with Bob’s wife Liz, daughter Sarah cleaning peoples cars for the price of a donation.
The day was very successful raising £1,000 on the day. The crew also donated the proceeds of the raffle at last years Crew Dinner towards the hospice, taking the total to £1,570.
